Freeman is committed to a goal of zero waste. Waste can be anything - resources, energy, time, and money - and there are steps that you can take to help this event reduce waste and be more sustainable.

 

Key points​

• Freeman, along with our customer on this event, has a goal of diverting ___% of waste from the landfill.

• Containers are available throughout the facility for all of the standard streams - paper, bottles, cans, and landfill.

• If you are working on a project that has a large amount of recycling such as cardboard packing materials, let the cleaning crew know or contact your supervisor to coordinate pickup.

• We ask that you think twice about where you throw trash and recycling throughout the day.

• Adding trash, especially wet items like food waste, to recycling can contaminate an entire recycling load and force it to end up in the landfill.
